Clark County commuters, be aware of upcoming overnight ramp closures on the CC-215 Beltway between Jones Boulevard and Revere Street. The closures, part of ongoing work to add a new sound wall and upgrade storm drains, will occur intermittently over the next few weeks.
The ramp closures will begin on Thursday, March 27, and continue intermittently until April 9, Sunday through Thursday. To minimize disruption, closures will happen overnight, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Though the construction may be inconvenient, it's an important part of the CC-215 Miscellaneous Soundwalls Project.
According to a statement from Clark County Public Works, the project also includes upgrades like wrong-way signage at various exit ramps, including Jones, Decatur, and a handful of others. Though the project may pose an inconvenience, local officials assure that access for both business and residential areas will remain unobstructed.
Drivers should stay alert and be ready to adjust their routes during these overnight closures. Clark County advises using alternate routes if possible and staying prepared for any unexpected changes to the schedule. Navigation apps like Waze, Google Maps, and Apple Maps can help you avoid potential delays and make late-night driving a bit easier.
