
The Pasco Sheriff's Office is calling on the community for assistance in a retail theft that escalated to assault in Hudson. On Friday, at around 3:45 p.m., a theft took place at a business located in the 12600 block of US-19. According to the sheriff's office, a White adult male stole merchandise and, when confronted, he committed battery against an individual before fleeing the scene.
The suspect's description, as released by authorities, includes a gray shirt, camouflage pants, a camouflage hat, and black sneakers; the man was last seen heading north on US-19. Notably, the time of the incident, clothing description, direction of flight, were initially reported by the Pasco Sheriff's Office urging any individuals with information to come forward as they continue to gather evidence and look for leads that could bring the perpetrator to justice.
In response to this event, the sheriff's department has heightened their call for community vigilance, reminding locals to report suspicious activities that may be related to this case or others alike. Those in the Hudson area are encouraged to maintain awareness and report any tips directly to the Pasco Sheriff's Office which might aid in the swift apprehension of the suspect and thereby reinforce the communal bonds of safety and order.
