The incident occurred around 9:28 PM and was immediately reported to the Petaluma Police Department. Arriving at the scene, officers discovered two heavily damaged vehicles and promptly called for medical support for one of the injured drivers. The victim was subsequently taken to a local hospital with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.
According to a report by the Petaluma Police Department, Andrea Gill, the driver of the second vehicle, exhibited signs of impairment. Conducted by the Department's DUI Officer, the investigation led to the conclusion that Gill had been driving under the influence and without a valid driver's license.
