
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is currently seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing toddler, believed to have been abducted by his mother in Southern California. As reported by KTLA, the toddler, one-year-old James Astuto, along with his 35-year-old mother, Stephanie Monique Ramos, have been reported missing since March 8, and they were last spotted on the block of 2000 Dela Street in Bassett, an unincorporated region of Los Angeles County.
According to KTLA, Ramos is described as a Hispanic woman, 5 feet 2 inches in height, and weighing around 155 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes. Her son, James, is a Hispanic male, standing at 3 feet and weighing 30 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. The details of what clothing they were last seen in are unknown, the situation has been described by authorities as critical due to the absence of any known pattern of running away or disappearance by Ramos.
