
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is searching for suspects involved in a series of vehicle burglaries, including a car theft on Thursday last week. These incidents occurred in areas like Hulon Dyer Drive, Cedar Creek Circle, and Big Orange Circle along Hawkins Crawford Road, as reported by WKRN.
According to 3B Media News, the suspects are described as small in stature and were seen driving a white SUV. They wore masks, goggles, hoodies, and gloves, and at least one suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office stated that the investigation so far shows only unlocked vehicles were targeted, while locked ones were ignored. Sheriff Farris has urged residents to lock their vehicles and report any suspicious activity right away. He also emphasized the importance of locking car doors and not leaving valuables inside, whether at home or in public, as per the WSMV report.
