Raleigh is accepting nominations for the 2025 Tree of the Year. The tree with the most votes will receive a certificate and a yard sign, whether on private or city property. Previous winners are not eligible.
Nominations kick off on April 2 and run through April 16th, ending promptly at 5 p.m. Mark your calendars, because the nomination link opens up on April 2. Once the nominations have been tallied, voting starts on April 17 and wraps up a week later, at 5 p.m. on April 23. The 2025 Tree of the Year winner will be announced at Raleigh's Earth Day/Arbor Day celebration at Dorothea Dix Park on April 25.
