
The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the death of a woman found in a tent last Sunday. As reported by ABC10, officers were called in the afternoon about a possible dead body near Bercut Drive and Bannon Street, across from Tiscornia Park.
Upon arrival, the scene was secured and subsequently taken over by homicide detectives and crime scene investigators to investigate the incident thoroughly. Authorities have since conducted a comprehensive canvas of the area and engaged with potential witnesses to gather more information, as per Fox40.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office is working to confirm the identity of a deceased woman, with the information to be released once her next of kin is notified.
