The City of San Antonio released an upgraded version of the 311SA mobile app on Tuesday, in alignment with National 311 Day. The updated app includes new features aimed at improving access to city services and information. Paula Stallcup, Director of 311 Customer Services, stated, "It is the most convenient way to report issues, improve your neighborhood and engage with your City government," according to the City of San Antonio.
The upgraded 311 app includes location services and photo attachments for reporting issues such as potholes or broken streetlights. It features a redesigned home screen, improved category search, and a request type search function to simplify submissions. Users can track service requests with enhanced status details, and the app provides a direct line to the 311 call center for additional support, as reported by the City of San Antonio.
The City of San Antonio has updated its 311SA app with a leaderboard system that tracks both historical and monthly community contributors to encourage engagement. The app now features a visual update, improved performance for faster use, and a Dark Mode for better visibility in low-light conditions. Residents can visit SA.gov/311SA to download the updated app.
