The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's deputies apprehended two suspects involved in a theft from a local business near the 29000 block of Bouquet Canyon Road. The incident unfolded as deputies were patrolling the area and received a call regarding the theft. According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station's Facebook post, upon arrival, they detained a suspect attempting to flee in a vehicle and were able to recover and return the stolen items to the business.
The initial arrest quickly escalated when investigators found the driver in possession of narcotics. A search led to the discovery of a second suspect nearby, who was detained with multiple stolen items, a firearm, narcotics, and over $200,000 in outstanding warrants. The post highlighted the severity of the crime stating the suspects will face multiple theft and firearms charges in addition to outstanding warrants.
