The Seattle Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that occurred in the Haller Lake area, as patrol officers were called to a grim scene yesterday at approximately 5:41 p.m. According to Seattle Police Department's blotter, they responded to a call about an individual down in the roadway on North 137th Street near Aurora Avenue North.
Upon arrival, police found an unresponsive 31-year-old man with life-threatening injuries. Seattle Fire Department personnel treated the man at the scene before transporting him to Harborview Medical Center. Despite intensive life-saving attempts, the man was pronounced dead at the hospital. Initial investigations into the homicide suggest that an altercation between the victim and the suspect occurred, culminating in the victim being struck by the suspect's vehicle, as reported by the Seattle Police Department.
