In the chilly morning hours of this past Sunday, a devastating barn fire in Maury County resulted in the tragic loss of several goats, with emergency responders battling the blaze for approximately three hours, as detailed by WKRN.
WSMV reported that the call came in just before 8 a.m. and upon arrival, the barn had already succumbed to the inferno and collapsed, hay bales igniting alongside it.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The MCFD has not confirmed whether any other animals were harmed, as per WSMV.
