Last Saturday, VFW Post 3750-West St. Charles shined a spotlight on the valiant efforts of St. Charles Parish's first responders at their 1st Responders Breakfast. This gathering wasn’t just about eggs and pancakes; it was a salute to the courage and dedication demonstrated by those who stand first in line to protect and serve. According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office's Facebook post, eight members of their team received National Life-Saving Awards.
The awards, which held on Saturday, were in recognition of the recipients' bold actions and relentless commitment to save lives. Dedicating to honor these local heroes, the VFW's initiative was met with appreciation from the community and a deep gratitude from the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office.
