A St. Clair County man was arrested following a Port Huron drug investigation, as a WWJ Newsradio 950 article reported. The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office, detailing the efforts of its Drug Task Force, conducted the bust involving cocaine and prescription pills.
During a traffic stop, the suspect, identified as Brandon Cannon, age 31, was taken into custody by law enforcement officials. Later, a search at Cannon's Brookstone home in the vicinity of I-94 and Ravenwood uncovered not just a stash of illicit drugs but also U.S. currency and ammunition, deputies recount in the discovery.
The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office shared on Facebook that Cannon was arraigned on multiple charges. These charges include possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver analogs, possession of ammunition by a felon, and maintaining a drug house. The court set his bond at $50,000 with a 10% option.
The Port Huron Major Crimes Unit and the St. Clair County Special Response Team assisted in this investigation, which led to the arrest and subsequent search.
