The St. Louis Blues have solidified their win streak to four games by taking down the Los Angeles Kings with a comfortable 4-1 score. According to FOX2now, the Blues' victory was bolstered by Colton Parayko and Pavel Buchnevich each finding the back of the net, while Jordan Binnington was nearly rock-solid in goal, stopping 25 shots.
Turning the ice into their playground, the Blues saw contributions across their lineup, with Dylan Holloway and Zack Bolduc each tallying a goal. This triumph marked the first time they've strung together four consecutive wins this season. However, the Kings, paced by Kevin Fiala's sole marker, and David Rittich's 30 saves, stumbled to their third loss in a row, as NHL.com reported.
Dylan Holloway, in particular, caught the eye with a goal and an assist to his name, elevating his stat line to an impressive 19 goals and 45 points in 61 outings. Holloway hadn't recorded a multi-point game since mid-January but remained consistent, earning points in nine of the previous 14 games, detailed by CBS Sports. It’s clear that the 23-year-old has found a comfortable groove within the Blues' top-six forwards.
"It’s fun," said Robert Thomas, whose assist against the Kings extended his point and assist streak to nine games, amassing 13 points in that span, informed by an NHL.com interview. Thomas reflected on the team's dynamic, observing, "We have a lot of good energy. All the lines are rolling, everyone’s contributing. It’s a lot of fun when it’s like that." Yet, while the Blues continue on their winning ways, the Kings will be looking to halt the skid that has seen their previous six game's successful run end in a 0-2-1 record.
