
The city has proudly announced Stacy Rodriguez-Duke as its 2024 Employee of the Year, recognizing her unwavering commitment and exceptional service to the community. A seasoned executive secretary, Rodriguez-Duke has a history of dedication to the city that is hard to overlook. She has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and has tirelessly contributed to various local programs, as delineated by a Euless City announcement.
Her journey with the city's administration started to stand out visibly in August 2018 when she was named Employee of the Month. Not content to rest on her laurels, Rodriguez-Duke further engaged with the community by participating in the Citizens Fire Academy, Citizens Police Academy, and CERT. She is also a pivotal figure in city events as an active member of the Employee Engagement Committee. This commendable service, amongst many other efforts, underscores her embodiment of the ideal Euless employee.
In a statement obtained by the City of Euless, City Manager Loretta Getchell highlighted Rodriguez-Duke's traits that made her an asset to the community. “Stacy is friendly and compassionate to our citizens and is invaluable to the City Manager’s Office," Getchell said. "She takes great pride in being part of the Euless team, and embodies the values that we seek in an Employee of the Year."
