An armed robbery occurred on the 1000 block of North Wilson Way in the Park District. At an undisclosed business, a 58-year-old woman and two men, aged 18 and 24, were confronted by the suspect while at work, as reported by the Stockton Police Department in a Facebook post yesterday.
The situation escalated when the employees attempted to stop the suspect from stealing merchandise, leading the perpetrator to threaten them before retrieving a firearm from a vehicle and threatening them further, the suspect fled the scene in said vehicle, the police are now seeking a suspect described as a Black male adult.
A statement on the Stockton Police Department's Facebook page outlined the evening's events as part of its Watch Commander's Night Report for Friday. That night, the department logged a total of 889 computer-aided dispatch (CAD) calls, including the reported armed robbery. Additional details regarding the suspect or the specific business targeted have not been publicly disclosed at this time.
