Early morning on Saturday, a man was discovered deceased atop a pile of shopping carts in a Troutdale parking lot, igniting a suspicious death investigation by authorities. According to KGW, the man's body was found in a Home Depot parking lot situated on Southeast Stark Street.
The Multnomah County Sheriff’s office received a call for a welfare check in that same lot, at around 5 a.m., as reported by KOIN. Upon their arrival, deputies came upon the grim scene: a man, lifeless, perched on a construction of metal cart devices intended for hauling the products of home improvement and construction aspirations.
Further details surrounding the man's death were scant as law enforcement officials proceeded with their investigation, trying to piece together the events that led to such an early morning discovery. The identity of the man had not been made public, neither were there immediate indicators of foul play or cause of death reported.
KPTV noted that the body was found seated upon shopping carts.
As the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office continues their investigation, the cause of death remains a mystery for now.
