Surveillance footage captured Jazmin wounded, attempting to find refuge before ultimately collapsing on the stoop of a nearby deli; emergency responders rushed him to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, however, his injuries were too severe and he was pronounced dead, the incident marking a grim tally as the fifth teenager to succumb to gun violence in New York City this year.
