Three suspects are now in police custody after a stolen car chase ended in a crash in downtown Memphis on Sunday evening. According to Action News 5, the Memphis Police Department confirmed that the officers were patrolling near South Main and Talbot when they noticed a man with a ski-mask next to a red Infiniti. When law enforcement attempted to approach, the vehicle quickly sped away, resulting in a collision with another car on Talbot.

It appears the police then had to give chase on foot to apprehend the suspects after the suspects fled the scene. "All three suspects occupying the Infinti, including the man wearing the ski mask, ran eastbound on Talbot and were taken into custody on St. Martin and Bulter," Action News 5 reported. It was later confirmed that the Infiniti they had been driving was stolen.

The suspect vehicle first gained attention from officers when it was stopped with a masked individual standing by. Following the initial observation, the situation escalated quickly when the Infiniti collided with another vehicle, as mentioned in FOX13 Memphis. The three individuals then attempted to quickly get rid of any identifying evidence as they fled from the crash site.

After the pursuit on foot, officers managed to take into custody the trio at St. Martin and Butler. "The three suspects were also transported in non-critical condition; one of the suspects was a juvenile," Action News 5 indicated. Meanwhile, the driver of the car struck by the stolen vehicle was taken to a local hospital, where they were treated for non-critical injuries.

WREG reported that "the driver of the vehicle that was struck on Talbot was also taken to Regional One in non-critical condition," providing details on the aftermath impact of the crash on those involved. The two adult suspects received medical attention at Regional One Hospital, while the juvenile was taken to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, though all reported injuries were non-critical.
