A routine traffic stop on Tomball Parkway led to the arrest of a man identified as Juan Moreno, Constable Mark Herman's Office reported. The stop, which took place in the 16300 block of the parkway on Thursday, unveiled a series of nine active offenses and the discovery of cocaine in Moreno's possession.
After stopping Moreno, deputies discovered he had outstanding Class C traffic warrants from Harris County Precinct 4. The situation shifted from traffic violations to narcotics-related charges, potentially leading to significant legal consequences for Moreno. "Juan Moreno was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for his open warrants and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance," announced Constable Mark Herman via a social media post.
Herman's office set Moreno's bond at $10,000, with the charges formalized in the 486th District Court.
