Tragedy beset Sunland Park on Tuesday when two men were critically injured in an industrial accident. The Sunland Park Fire Department reported an incident involving a shifting trailer load that pinned two individuals inside a semi-trailer on Avenida Ascension. The emergency response included the efforts of both Sunland Park Fire Department and Doña Ana Fire Rescue.
Rescue teams were dispatched at around 5:38 pm to the scene of the accident. As detailed by the Sunland Park Fire Department, one of the injured was transported by SPFD Squad 1, and the other by AMR.
