
Tragedy beset Sunland Park on Tuesday when two men were critically injured in an industrial accident. The Sunland Park Fire Department reported an incident involving a shifting trailer load that pinned two individuals inside a semi-trailer on Avenida Ascension. The emergency response included the efforts of both Sunland Park Fire Department and Doña Ana Fire Rescue.
Rescue teams were dispatched at around 5:38 pm to the scene of the accident. As detailed by the Sunland Park Fire Department, one of the injured was transported by SPFD Squad 1, and the other by AMR. The condition of the men, according to the initial reports, was critical at the time of their transportation to the nearest medical facility.
