The Metropolitan Police Department recently reported the arrest of two teenage suspects in connection with a burglary at a Southeast establishment. The incident took place in the early hours of a November morning, with the suspects accused of breaking into the property to steal items.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department release, on November 30, 2024, it was reported that multiple individuals forced their way into a business on the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast, around 4:00 a.m., stealing merchandise before fleeing the scene. The arrest of a 17-year-old male from Silver Spring, MD, marking the second person detained in relation to the crime.

The latest arrest occurred last Saturday, following a custody order from the DC Superior Court. The juvenile has been charged with Burglary in the Second Degree. This follows the earlier arrest of a 17-year-old female from Southeast, DC, on January 22, under similar charges.
