
The Metropolitan Police Department recently arrested 26-year-old Lorenzo Adams-Jenkins in connection with three nighttime burglaries in Washington D.C.'s Third District. Adams-Jenkins, who has no fixed address, is accused of targeting local businesses and stealing various properties, including cash.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department release, yesterday, Adams-Jenkins allegedly broke into a business on the 1700 block of Columbia Road, Northwest. He is said to have stolen money from a cash register before officers arrived and detained him. The case was assigned CCN: 25032155.
Detectives have linked Adams-Jenkins to two other burglaries, which took place last month. One occurred near the 3100 block of Mount Pleasant Street, Northwest, and the other near the 2400 block of 18th Street, Northwest. These crimes happened on February 20, and were assigned case numbers CCN: 25024894 and CCN: 25024779.
Adams-Jenkins faces three counts of Burglary Two and one count of Destruction of Property.
