
Washington D.C.'s Metropolitan Police Department is searching for two individuals connected to vandalism targeting Tesla vehicles. The incidents occurred in early March, and authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects seen on surveillance footage, as reported by the Metropolitan Police Department.
The damages occurred mainly in the Northeast quadrant of the District, with incidents on K Street and 11th Street. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the crimes involved "political hate speech" written on cars. A male suspect is also linked to offenses on F and G Streets.
The Metropolitan Police Department has released suspect photos on its website and is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for tips leading to an arrest and indictment.
