A Weeki Wachee man has been taken into custody on multiple charges, including possession of child pornography, after an investigation by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office. Detectives initiated an investigation on November 3, 2024, upon receiving a tip related to the disturbing allegations. Identified as the suspect in the case is Nick Albert Crescitelli, born on August 15, 1979.
As the case developed, probable cause was established, leading to a search warrant for Crescitelli's residence on Fine Street, authorized and executed on February 26 and 27 respectively. Detectives from the Special Victim’s Unit made contact with Crescitelli at his home, according to the official press release from the Hernando County Sheriff's Office. Found in his bedroom was a glass pipe, later testing positive for methamphetamine, which landed Crescitelli under arrest on that day.
Charges against Crescitelli include four counts of possession of child pornography and have resulted in a no bond status, along with charges for unlawful use of a two-way communication device and possession of paraphernalia, which carry a $6,000 bond.
