
A tragic incident occurred over the weekend in Zion, Illinois, where a 68-year-old Wisconsin woman was fatally injured in a vehicle collision. As reported by ABC7 Chicago, the crash took place near the intersection of Russell Road and Green Bay Road on Saturday night, around 10:45 p.m.
According to the details provided, both vehicles were traveling northbound when a rear-end collision occurred. FOX 32 Chicago identified the decedent as Judith Kidder of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Kidder, who previously resided in Zion, succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital.
The Lake County coroner's office released findings that Kidder died from blunt force injuries to the head and neck. This incident has prompted a thorough inquiry by local authorities, including the Zion Police Department and the Major Crash Assistance Team.
