Attention all nature enthusiasts and those with a penchant for the great outdoors—Wright County Parks & Recreation is swinging the gates open for their campground reservations, starting at 8 a.m. for county residents and noon for everyone else come Monday. The county has laid down a few new rules for this year's camping season: campers are now capped at a seven-night stay maximum and can hold no more than five reservations on one receipt. Outdoor lovers can take advantage of this opportunity starting May 2, 2025, with Schroeder and Bertram campgrounds open till October 19, 2025, and Collinwood saying goodbye to campers a smidge earlier on October 5, 2025.
For those itching to secure their spot, a quick tutorial video has been released - consider it your compass to navigate the reservation process. The Parks & Recreation team can be contacted at [email protected], or dial up the specific campgrounds themselves: Bertram at 763-295-0409, Collinwood at 320-286-2801, and Schroeder at 320-274-8870.
Prices have been set for the 2025 camping year. Full-service campsites with electric, water, and sewer amenities are going for $35 per night for Wright County residents, with non-residents forking out $43. If you can do without the full monty, Electric Campsites are a tad cheaper at $32 for locals and $40 for out-of-towners. The Rustic Campsites will run you $22 if you're local and $28 if you're not. Bigger groups might eye the Tandem Campsites, available at Bertram and Schroeder for $51 a night for residents and $61 for non-residents, whereas the Large and Small Camper Cabins at Bertram pitch in at $65 and $55 per night, respectively, with a slight surcharge for non-residents. The reservation comes with a $6 non-refundable fee per site.
