An 18-year-old suspect was taken into custody in San Antonio after a standoff with the SWAT team on Sunday evening. The standoff started around 7 p.m. on Trudell Drive and lasted about four hours, as reported by KTSA.
The San Antonio Police Department's SWAT team attempted to arrest a teenage suspect wanted in connection with a kidnapping case reported last week. According to MSN, the initial victim was found at the same residence where the arrest attempt took place. Authorities also expressed concern that a second girl, believed to be a friend of the first victim, might be at the same location. The investigation is ongoing.
A police standoff ended when a young man came out of the home. Officers searched the house but did not find the second missing girl. One person was taken into custody, but their name has not been released. The case remains under investigation.
