Residents of the Southwest District experienced a night marred by violence as police responded to reports of a shooting on West Mulberry Street. Last night, at about 9:09 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers were summoned to the 2100 block following a distressing call. They arrived at the scene to find a 21-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound, a grim testament to the event's severity.
According to the Baltimore Police Department's website, the victim was quickly taken to a nearby hospital. Her condition and the extent of her injuries, at this time, have not been disclosed to the public.
