A fatal car accident in the 300 block of Travis Avenue has resulted in the death of 25-year-old William Giovanis Vasquez and left an adult female passenger in critical condition. The incident occurred early Sunday morning when a 2023 Ford Mustang crossed lanes and collided with a tree.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Police, the crash happened at approximately 12:04 a.m., with the Mustang striking the median before entering the westbound lanes and crashing into a tree. First responders from Montgomery County and Gaithersburg Police, along with Montgomery County Fire Rescue, arrived at the scene. Vasquez was pronounced dead at the scene, while the female passenger was taken to a local hospital.
