A fatal collision in Gratiot County has claimed the life of a 60-year-old man from Ashley, after his involvement in a two-vehicle accident. The incident, occurring at the crossroad of W. Cleveland Road and S. Ely Highway yesterday at 4:16 p.m., led to the shutdown of the road for roughly three hours while authorities conducted preliminary investigations into the event's circumstances, WNEM reports.
While the Ashley man succumbed to his injuries, the other driver, a 21-year-old male, was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. According to the Gratiot County Sheriff’s Office, the cause of the incident is still under investigation, and the circumstances leading to the outcome remain unclear at this time, as per abc12.
