Two new Aldi stores are opening in Henderson and North Las Vegas on April 24. The first 100 customers at each location will receive "golden tickets" worth up to $100 and a free bag of Aldi products, according to News3lv.
Aldi shoppers can receive a free shopping tote while supplies last, along with the opportunity to win a $500 gift card in an in-store sweepstakes. Before the grand opening, the stores will host a "speak peek" shopping experience on April 23, a day before the official ribbon-cutting, as detailed by News3lv.
Aldi plans to open 800 new stores in the U.S. by 2028, increasing its total to over 3,200 locations. A third store in Las Vegas at 7150 S. Rainbow Blvd. is set to open in May. Aldi is known for cost-saving strategies, such as private-label brands, no bagging services, and a 25-cent cart deposit. Shawn Eddy, Aldi's regional vice president, said, "Our customers can save up to 36% on an average household's shopping list. As shoppers look for better ways to stretch their dollar, ALDI is providing the Las Vegas area with easier access to quality groceries at affordable prices," as mentioned by Review Journal.
