An Allegheny County man has been arrested and charged with the tragic fentanyl-related death of a 15-year-old girl from Oakdale. As the Office of the Attorney General reported, Shakeirs Foster, 27, is alleged to have exploited the girl's vulnerability by providing her with the lethal substance in exchange for sexual conduct.
According to Attorney General Dave Sunday, this collaboration between law enforcement agencies led to the unveiling that Foster exacted sexual conduct on the girl in a tragedy that is unspeakable for sexual acts, which she complied with in hopes of obtaining the drug. The incident, which led to the girl's overdose and subsequent death on May 14, 2024, has left the community in mourning. Sunday condemned Foster's actions in a statement obtained by the Office of the Attorney General. "This loss of life was directly caused by a predatory drug dealer who targeted a vulnerable child, and exploited her without a care for her wellbeing or worth as a person."
Foster was arrested at his workplace yesterday, facing charges including drug delivery resulting in death, sexual extortion, and other related offenses. Investigation methods encompassed witness interviews, cellphone evidence reviews, and more tied Foster to the fatal transaction.
