
Authorities in Annapolis are currently investigating after the Annapolis Harbormaster discovered a body in the water near the Truxtun Boat Ramp last Friday afternoon. As reported by FOX Baltimore, the deceased individual is believed to be an adult male. However, official identification and determination of the cause of death are pending following an examination by the Medical Examiner's office.
The Annapolis Police Department has taken the reins in this case, working to quickly gather additional evidence that might serve to clarify the circumstances under which the body came to be located where it was. As part of this ongoing investigation, officers must thoroughly canvass the area and speak with potential witnesses. In a statement detailed by WMAR-2 News, a representative from the police department stated, "Annapolis Police say they are working to gather additional information that will help them identify the deceased."
