The Arizona Commerce Authority currently tracks 482 active business projects across the state, with 336 rooted in the manufacturing sector. Of these, 54 are directly tied to semiconductor production and 88 to battery manufacturing—clear indicators of Arizona's expanding role in high-tech and clean energy industries. This wave of investment is part of a larger shift toward reshoring key manufacturing operations, spurred by global supply chain disruptions and trade policy uncertainty in recent years.
