The Arlington Police Department is inviting the community to its upcoming 'Cooking with Cops' event, set to take place later this month. The social gathering aims to provide a relaxed atmosphere where residents can enjoy free food and get to know their local law enforcement officers.
According to a social media post from the department, the event is scheduled for April 24 at George Stevens Park, located at 400 W. Sanford St. It will run from 4 PM to 8 PM and promises burgers, hot dogs, snacks, and soft drinks, all on the house.
"Bring your family, grab a bite, and join the fun. We can’t wait to see you there!" the Arlington Police Department said in its announcement, underscoring the open invitation to the broader community.
