The search is on for two suspects connected to a recent robbery at Zebra Smoke Shop in Austin, Texas. In the early hours of April 18, two armed individuals invaded the premises located at 944 Payton Gin Road, forcing the employees at gunpoint to relinquish an undisclosed sum of cash. The Austin Police Department (APD) shared this information in an attempt to gather public assistance in catching the culprits.
Descriptions of the suspects have been circulated, alongside their surveillance images. The first, a Black male, estimated to be between 25 to 35 years old, stands around 6 feet tall and weighs between 200 and 250 pounds. He was armed with a dark colored handgun and wearing a white graffiti hooded sweater, maroon undershirt, green beanie, light colored pants, and white and black shoes. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 35 years old, 5’8” tall, with a medium build, carrying a similar weapon, and was last seen in a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and a black hat adorned with red and green, featuring a sticker on the brim. Both are considered armed and dangerous.
