
A Baltimore man faces serious charges after police say he shot his daughter in their home. According to FOX Baltimore, Kelvin Evans, 40, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder following the April 14 incident, which occurred around 9:10 p.m. in the 2100 block of West Mulberry Street.
Responding to reports of a shooting, Baltimore officers discovered a 21-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound. WMAR2News reported that after a dispute, Evans allegedly shot his daughter, who was then transported to a local hospital for treatment. Her current condition remains unknown.
The Baltimore Police confirmed the arrest of Evans through a social media post, adding that he had been taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility. The same post by the department noted that the investigation continues and that Southwest District detectives are seeking information on the shooting.
