Vicki Brick, the CEO of Brick Bodies Fitness Services, has passed away after a battle with ovarian cancer. According to a Facebook post by the company, Brick was a beloved figure in the family-owned gym business that began in 1985 with her parents, Victor and Lynne Brick. Vicki Brick brought innovation and leadership to the brand when she took over the company in 2015.
According to FOX Baltimore, the company's social media post highlighted Brick's contributions: "Vicki was a cherished daughter and a loving mother, wife, and sister. She was an innovator, a leader and an inspiration to everyone she knew." The gym community meant much to Brick, as the post noted that she "loved our members" and that she found joy in viewing their posts and stories during her illness. The Brick family expressed their gratitude for the love, prayers, and support they have received and requested privacy during this period of mourning.
Details on arrangements and plans will be communicated as they become available. Followers of the Brick Bodies Fitness Services Facebook page can expect to find updates there.
