Marvel Day promises to quickly become a fan favorite, with the first 20,000 fans to attend the game against the Tampa Bay Rays receiving a uniquely designed Cal Ripken Jr. Iron Man Bobblehead, made possible in partnership with the MDOT’s Work Zone Safety Campaign. As stated by Marvel's Brian Crosby, the creative minds at Marvel couldn't resist the chance to bring into life Iron Man's likeness with the Orioles' very own Iron Man, a sentiment echoed in the interview by WMAR-2 News, where he said, "Designing Cal’s own unique armor inspired by Iron Man, complete with Baltimore Orioles colors and the number 8, was a thrill for me as a fan of both of these legendary icons."
Fans will not only be treated to the novelty bobblehead but also indulge in various Marvel-themed activities across the ballpark. These include games, trivia, and decorations grown around Eutaw Street, making for an immersive experience for both baseball enthusiasts and Marvel fans.
