A quiet street turned into a scene of chaos last year when Baltimore's Northwest District was disrupted by gunfire. According to the Baltimore Police Department, yesterday, officers rushed to the 5400 block of Reisterstown Road after receiving a shooting report at about 10:05 p.m.
Upon their arrival, they found a 28-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her lower extremities. She was quickly taken to a local hospital and is currently stable. The investigation took a turn when a 29-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman entered separate hospitals with gunshot wounds, claiming they were shot at the same location. Both are now in stable condition. The Northwest District Shooting detectives have since taken over the investigation, canvassing the area for any clues that could lead to a suspect or help understand the motive behind the incident.
The police have not yet made any arrests in connection with the shooting, and the motives and circumstances leading to the violence that night remain unclear.
