A barefoot man in Florida, known as the "Blue Collar Brawler," recently stopped traffic, albeit metaphorically, as he wrangled a large alligator on Interstate 95. The unusual incident occurred in the median of the Jacksonville highway and was captured on video, showcasing the man's fearless interaction with the reptilian creature.

The individual, identified as licensed alligator trapper Mike Dragich, was able to safely capture and restrain the alligator with the aid of local authorities. As reported by FOX13 News, Dragich was assisting the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, along with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Florida Highway Patrol. The video footage showed Dragich using a pole to catch the gator, subsequently wrestling it to the ground and securing its jaw before loading it onto a truck.

Mike Dragich is familiar with the adrenaline rush that comes with capturing these formidable creatures. "It definitely gets my blood, my heart pumping and my blood flowing, the adrenaline going. I've done it quite a bit, so I feel confident in what I'm doing with these animals. I know how they move. That's not the same for everyone, so you've got to be careful, never approach these animals," Dragich stated, as per FOX13 News.

According to WFTV, after the alligator's successful capture, its mouth was taped shut for safe transportation. Dragich, who has amassed a following of over 362,000 on Instagram for his gator-trapping efforts, was also recognized for his aid last summer when he helped to remove a gator from a Jacksonville fire station.
