A woman has been taken into custody in Boulder County connected to a string of "porch piracy" incidents, according to local authorities. On Tuesday, 31-year-old Brittney Enwall was arrested after deputies found her allegedly passed out in her vehicle, with numerous pieces of stolen mail and other potentially stolen items.

The investigation was triggered early in the morning, when at around 5:30 a.m., Boulder County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a woman asleep behind the wheel at 8300 Greenwood Drive. Upon reaching the scene, deputies identified Enwall and reported to have observed signs indicative of drug impairment. A search of her vehicle uncovered a collection of mail, including letters and unopened packages, none of which were addressed to Enwall, as reported by the Boulder County Sheriff's Office

Adding to the alleged criminal activities, detectives stated that they also found burglary tools and drug paraphernalia in Enwall's possession. Substances believed to be amphetamines led to charges of unlawful possession. Additional property, like bicycles and computer equipment, was also seized from the vehicle; these items have yet to be claimed by their potential owners. The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging anyone from the Niwot or South Longmont area who has recently experienced theft to reach out to their non-emergency line at 303-441-4444 with any pertinent information.
