The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant on the 200 block of High School Street in San Andreas last Friday. This led to the discovery of a large marijuana grow operation, as reported by the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office.
The raid, which took place at around 9:00 AM, resulted in the seizure of over 5,000 marijuana plants and 460 pounds of processed marijuana, with an estimated street value of $1.3 million to $2.1 million. The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office also found illegal steroids and high-capacity magazines at the location. Authorities noted unsafe wiring, which posed a fire risk.

Narcotic investigators are examining potential criminal violations due to the site's location. The warrant was executed during spring break to reduce any impact on students, and a deputy was assigned to the school for added security.
