
A murder-suicide occurred in Chevy Chase on Wednesday last week, when 61-year-old Kate Simoni Fralin and 63-year-old William Scott Fralin were found dead in their Connecticut Avenue home.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Police release, authorities discovered the couple's bodies with gunshot wounds after responding to a call around 6:30 p.m. on the 8500 block of Connecticut Avenue. A gun and ammunition were found near the bodies, prompting a Major Crimes investigation.
The Montgomery County Department of Police reported that Kate Simoni Fralin’s death was ruled a homicide, while William Scott Fralin’s death is being investigated as a possible suicide. The investigation is ongoing, and the official cause of his death has not yet been determined.
