
Authorities are investigating after two restaurants, Chipotle and Black Bear Diner, in northwest Harris County were targeted by burglars. The break-ins occurred on Wednesday night and were reported by both Click2Houston and the Harris County Constable Precinct 4. As per reports, the restaurants are separated by a short distance along the North Freeway near the Beltway and the respective incidents appear to be connected.
Constable Mark Herman noted the proximity of the establishments in a statement to Click2Houston and photos from the scene were made publicly available by his office. Currently, no details on what was taken or the extent of the damage have been released. Officials are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
In a Facebook post, Harris County Constable Precinct 4 warned the public about two overnight break-ins near the 15700 block of the North Freeway, by Chipotle and The Black Bear Diner. They also encouraged residents to download their new app, "C4 NOW," which shares updates on crime, arrests, safety tips, and traffic incidents in the area.
