In recognition of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, Cochise County is showing major respect to the dispatchers at SEACOM. These dedicated individuals, often the unsung backbone of emergency services, keep a cool head while coordinating critical response efforts. Working day in, day out, they're always available to provide professional support that can save lives.
The County's attention turned to these heroes during the celebration from Sunday to Saturday, with Cochise County supervisors paying a visit to the Sierra Vista-based SEACOM dispatch center. The team, led by Executive Director Tammi-Jo Wilkins, gave them a look at the advanced technology driving their operations. With National Recognition Week underway, the County's top brass are keen to share insights from their visit, analyzing the complex communication systems on the official social media platforms of Cochise County.
Emphasizing the critical importance of the dispatchers' role, Board Chair Antenori shared his appreciation for their work. "We’re grateful every day for the dedication and expertise of our SEACOM dispatchers,” Antenori stated in a release on the Cochise County website. “This week is a meaningful opportunity to let them know just how valued they are.”
As part of the acknowledgment process, Cochise County is urging residents to take part in celebrating the dispatchers' hard work, skill, and consistent professionalism.
