In a distressing incident, a local Columbus area family fell victim to a threatening robbery last Saturday. According to the Columbus Police Department's press release, an assailant brandishing a baseball bat barged into the family's apartment on the 5400 block of Floral Circle South. The suspect made serious accusations toward the victim's children, claiming they had damaged her vehicle.
In an audacious attempt at delivering her form of justice, the suspect demanded $100 in cash as reparation for the supposed harm. If her demands were not met, she threatened to assault the victim's family and wreak havoc on their belongings. Faced with the imminent threat, the victim complied and handed over the money, after which the suspect departed.
