Authorities in Columbus are seeking the public's help to identify two individuals connected to a forceful robbery that occurred earlier this week. According to a social media post by the Columbus Division of Police, the event unfolded on Monday when the culprits accosted the victim.
The initial suspect's encounter with the victim started over a cell phone, and the suspect was wrestled away forcibly. As the victim sought to reclaim their belonging, they were confronted by the harsh reality of a black handgun, brandished from the suspect's waistband. Wrestling away the victim's cell phone, the suspect followed them into a business on Cleveland Avenue, where the weapon was pointed at not just the original victim, but another individual, demanding their possessions. Not alone in this endeavor, a second suspect made their presence known, confronting the victim before both parties took to their heels, leaving in a black Acura SUV missing its front plate.
