The Columbus Division of Police is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a recent robbery. According to the Columbus Division of Police in a social media post, the robbery occurred in the Floral Circle area last Saturday evening.
Officers were dispatched to the 5400 block of Floral Circle S. after receiving a report at around 9:32 p.m. The suspect, allegedly wielding a baseball bat, is accused of forcibly entering a resident's apartment. She claimed that the victim's children had caused damage to her vehicle. With a bat in her hand, the woman demanded compensation, or she would assault the victim's family and destroy his property. Fearing for his family's safety, the victim complied and handed over $100 to the aggressor, after which she fled the scene.
